Sorry for the delay and not getting your name right! After some
digging I found my info on the mufflers. Btw you can
buy the mufflers direct form Borla at 805-986-8600 (Calif), try Ed
at ext. 218 or Eric at 217. You may also want to try Summit
racing at 216-630-5333. They might be able
to give you a better price as they order bulk quantities, but
delivery may be a problem if they are out of stock.
I think I ordered from Stranos because they had the muffler
in stock at the time. I bought the 'Hemi' Muffler Part No
40661 which has one 2 1/2" inlet and 2 -2" outlets and the
'Turbo' Muffler Part No. 40659 (to replace the resonator)
which has one 2 1/2" inlet and one 2 1/2" outlet.
Note that 'Hemi' and 'Turbo' refer only to the model, not
to imply that they are suited for any particular engine.
I think I paid approx. $105 each plus shipping.
In hindsight, I probably didn't need the second muffler to
replace the resonator and could have used a straight pipe. In
addition, the second muffler is a tight fit and required alot
of fitting before it was right, but it is do-able.
I found 2 - 90 deg. stainless steel bends to make up
the tail pipes and welded them directly onto the muffler.
You may be able to re-use the original pipes, but mine were
too far gone.
The number at Stanos is 800-729-1831, ask for Lynn.
If you need more info let me know.
