No.  We drive on the other side of the road - the prismatic reflectors formed 
into the lenses deflect the dipped beam to the left.  If you decide to source 
lights from Europe, make it mainland Europe - they drive on the wrong side of 
the road, just like you.

It's not a tax deduction - it's expense reimbursement.  I pay all my private 
mileage, which isn't a lot in the quattro.  VAT is currently 17.5% - petrol is 
subject to other taxes and duties - about 86% of the pump price is tax.
