The whole purpose of my calculation is to calculate the actual cost - if my 
costs were as low as yours, then THAT is what I would have to reimburse myself.
No profits, I'm afraid - the taxman says so.

I also run an Audi 80CD (1982) - it's done 75,000 miles since 1985 and has 
needed a new alternator, starter motor and water pump plus normal servicing.  
The cost per mile is far less than a third of the quattro's.
