No, there is an additional pulley in there with a spring on it that
controls the tension of the timing belt. The belt, waterpump and
tensioner should all be replaced while you're at it, as the labor is
very high to do any one of these items, but virtually free if you are in
there anyway. Parts cost is
very small as compared to the labor.
