1985 5000S Price

Hi,

I've been lurking for a while on this 'Quattro' listserv, but now I have 
a question.  I have an '86 5000s which I bought at auction about three 
years ago for $2100, which I thought was a real bargain.  I need another 
car for my son and just happened to see an '85 5000s automatic (non 
quattro) offered along the side of the road for $3450.  The car has about 
99,000 on the odometer, which has stopped turning around (same as mine, 
which I understand is common).  The car looks like it is in good condition with 
no bumbs.  The owner claims that all the electricals work, even the power 
memory seats.  Does anyone know what the going price should be?  Is there 
anything particularly bad about the automatics?  (I have the stick).
