agree with the cables first idea...  Bottom line is that the calipers should
need to be replaced maybe once but if you just did them a year ago or so the
problem isn't the caliper...  You may want to check that the preload on the
brake handle attachment (just before entering car underneath) is not too
tight.

The easy way to check for the cables is to disconnect them and see if the
problem persists, should be able to do this without removing the brake
assbly.
