I suspect I'm not the only one whose oncoming mailbox is
getting swamped. I also seem to get a private echo back from

"Apparently-From: Mercury!chinet!postmaster"

on each outgoing message I send.

I'm sure that both these guys have no idea what is
happening, but it would be nice to get them off the list
until they get back from :

                         "vacation"
