  YEP! That 20V might have a 50HP higher figure Vs the 10V 4000Q, but that
  extra 50HP comes at high RPM. It's torque that moves/accelerates the car
  and the 4000Q likely has a nice wide torque curve. I bet the 20V is way
  down on torque at the low-end and midrange. Don't get fooled by big HP
  numbers. Big HP from 4500-6000 RPM won't be as pleasing as a nice broad
  torque curve down in the RPM range that you actually use in real-world
  street operation. This holds true for turbo engines as well. Now if
  you're building a race/rally car that will be operated at 5000-7000 RPM
  all the time, that's a very different situation..... Build/tune for the
  RPM range you will be operating at.
