That's interesting about just using the measurements for finding the bearing.

My biggest 'find the bearing' frustration has been with a/c idler
bearings...the one inside the a/c clutch assembly that allows the belt to
drive the pulley while the clutch is disengaged.  These bearings have no
numbers and the measurements I've given different people have produced no
results at all.

Maybe we could try this one on your whiz *kid*.
