I just picked up a refill for my friend's '89 190E at the M-B dealer.
It's almost 25" long and cost $11.32.  And you only need one since the
190 has only single wiper.  Refills are available for the S-class
wipers; they cost slightly more because they're a LOT longer.  In any
case, they're made out of the same material as any other Bosch refill
I've ever seen.  At my local Audi dealer, they stock the longest
refill, and you just cut it to length.  However, thanks to the Audi
Advantage, I've never had to pay for one.

One caution: the wipers of my '92 Audi 100CS abhored the use of
Rain-X.  They would groan and skip in anything less that a total
downpour.  I fixed the problem by waxing the windshield with Sonax Hard
Wax.
