I was warned, too. But my experience has been very positive...no problems
and, like I said, removal of the flat spot that used to be there during
acceleration. A friend with who brought in one of the last coupes himself
had the same experience.
The exhaust is throaty, but not loud, even under acceleration. By the way,
I may have said Ansa "tips"...what I actually put on the end was a single,
large tip unit. The dual was too long to fit with the muffler. There was
no significant improvement in throttle response off the line, but
acceleration and buildup of boost just seems smoother than before as you
climb in revs and the rush feels a little more powerful as it gets going.
