I wouldn't jump to such conclusions.  The VWs uses a transverse engine
arrangement with a totally different transmission (type 020).  The
Audi 4000 4 cyl has type 013.  The VW Fox and Quantum has longitudinal
engine type 013 tranny, but notice that Autotech does not list a Quaife
application for either the Fox nor the Quantum...
