I've got the same problem on my Quantum Syncro.  What I did was cut a piece of 
rubber fuel line about 8" long to put on the end of the oil bottle.  I press the
hose onto the bottle spout, put my finger over the end of it, and turn the whole
thing upside down and push it into the area above the transmission behind the 
engine.  I slip my finger off when I insert the other end of the hose into the 
fill plug.  It's a little messy when I'm finished, since there is oil in the 
hose when I take the bottle back down.  It's not a beautiful solution, but it's 
cheap and it works!

Since your car is at least a little different, you may need to try a different 
length of hose.  The key is flexibility -- if the hose is too short to flex, 
it'll pop off of the oil bottle.  Trust me, _that_ is messy!  :)
