That's why I keep the original pieces!  When my fiat got totalled, I was
told by the insurance company that they didn't care what was in the car
when they took it as long as:

"If it came with a radio, it leaves with a radio."  Ie. parts is parts.
Whatever you put in, you can take back out and replace with the original.

I stripped all the goodies of the fiat before they took it...just had to be
sure that they were all replaced.  Took the new battery and put the old
dead one back in, took the rims/wheels, put the old ones back on....etc.

of course, use only as directed...YMMV...
