And there is another thing I can't figure out. What is this business
states seem to have about sticking stickers on the back of your car? The
only place you find renewal stickers in Minnesota is on the license plate,
where they belong. Why require you to have plates AND a sticker? Just
don't give the guy his plates if the car has not passed its required
inspections. I still have this Hawaii state safety sticker on my Lotus.
Probably take the chrome off...
BTW, the plates AND the year stickers (known as "tabs") are on both front and
rear, and are reflective. Hey, what do you suppose is the first "M" in "3M"?
Good news for the Lotus, but not the Syncro is that Collector plates
require no yearly tabs, and have MINNESOTA and 10,000 LAKES stamped into
them like the good old days, not as part of a color graphic.
