Can there be some significant variance here with the Repco's? Otherwise,
why do so many of us love them and sothers have such horror stories?
Unpredictable when cold??? Not here in Denver...Scary when wet?? They
wern't in Alabama thunderstorms when I lived there, on the TQC, my Alfa
coupe, or the Volvo Turbo Coupe that I had... And I never had any problems
on my modified FIAT in California either, but of course, it doesn't EVER
get cold or rain out there.
By the way, I don't break hard as a regular habit, prefering smoother
transitions. My pads and rotors tend to last a lot longer than most, from
what mechanics and friends tell me. Clutches, too.
