I just thought of something.  My 4000S has drums on the back.  If the 
Repco's weren't heated up much in the front, the rears would be able to 
compensate for the lag time in the front.  Maybe you guys with 4-wheel 
discs would notice it more than me.  And, as a general rule, I do brake 
pretty hard most of the time.  Unless my girlfriend starts to bunch her 
butt up on the passenger side and her nail begin to dig into the dash...
