Folks,

I seem to recall that some weeks ago there was a small flurry of postings
about older 4000's for sale at what I recall as being good prices.

Since that time my everyday beater ('84 Jetta) has gone to that great
Autobahn in the sky, and I would like to replace it with an older 4000
as stablemate to my 100Q -- FWD is OK, quattro preferable;  heck, I'd
even consider a (much) older 5000 diesel if it's in decent shape.

I'd be grateful for any leads, esp in the Northeast.
