  PROJECT AUDI 4000 CS QUATTRO, European Car, April '95, pg. 82-84
  (nice article on upgrading from those *pitiful* US-spec headlights)

  (They used Bosch H4s, though the Hella H1/H4s that the Euro '85 ur-Quattros
  used would be a far better choice, IMFO, Ed.)

  WE HEAR, pg. 109 &112
    Audi's aluminum A8 will spawn a low weight, high performance coupe.
  Scheduled for production three years from now, it will have an extruded
  aluminum spaceframe chassis, and the sedan's 300HP 4.2L V8. The top
  model will feature four-wheel-drive and Tiptronic transmission.

  contained a gravity-enhancing compound....handling is simply stunning.....
  Audi now offers an excellent four-speed gearbox.....which mates wonderfully
  with Quattro......Audi is now well entrenched in the top 10 of JD Power's
  satisfaction ratings.....Quattro makes the Audi an excellent first choice
  (vs BMW and MB, Ed.)

    VW's upcoming sports car based on the Concept 1 will share similar
  lines to the Dodge Viper. Look for it to be powered by a 2.5-liter
  10-cylinder engine putting out 468 BHP. An alternative fuel option
  is being considered with organically-produced methane the most likely
  source of power.

  Buying an Audi 90, All you need to know

  .....Quattro motoring does not come any cheaper.....high mileage is almost
  inevitable and does not greatly affect the price.....inexpensive to buy
  and cheap to run, this is the one to go for.....most of the present owners
  are enthusiasts who intend to keep them.....you have to spend an awful lot
  more money to get the same performance and four-wheel-drive in a later
  model, so finding one for sale might not be easy.....How much to pay?

    If you're an SCCA PRO Rally fan and are sick of Paul Choiniere's Audi
  Quattro S2 dominating the series (Who, me? - HELL NO,Ed.) , take heart:
  The John Buffum-built Audi isn't running in 1995. (BOO, Hisss, Ed.) But
  Choiniere is, so don't count him out. He'll be driving a Buffum-built,
  all-wheel-drive (Gag, choke, PUKE!) Hyundai Elantra......Jeff Zwart,
  last year's runner-up in Open Class, will not be back in his Porsche
  Carrera 4 (too bad, Ed.).....

  REBIRTH IN ITALY
    Venerable Italian carmaker Isotta Franschini has been reborn and will
  produce a $120,000 sport car using the Audi A8's 24-valve 300-HP 4.2-liter
  and four-wheel-drive running gear. A deal is expected to be announced within
  the next few months in which Audi technology will be applied to a unique
  two-door body at a factory in southern Italy to create what Isotta Franshini
  chairman Guiliano Malvino describes as "A competitor to the M-B SL."
  Malvino added that the new car, called T-8, will debut next year and will
  be homologated for sales in the US........

  ON SECOND THOUGHT
    In other Ford European news, sales projections for the Ford/VW joint-
  venture minivan have been cut back. The companies originally planned to
  produce 150,000 units annually of the Ford Galaxy/VW Sharan........Ford
  maintains that it will not bring excess Galaxy models to the US.....
