     Arun, the special tool you're looking for is a 12-point bit or
triple-square. Try Snap-On, Mac, etc for the warranteed version, or discount
auto parts stores for cheap alternatives.

     As regards CV joints, if the boots aren't ripped, a simple repack every
50K miles should suffice. The Bentley manual details this procedure and shows
photos of any potential trouble spots!
