It seems like the question is what potential does the car have. You don't
seem inclined to fix it up, so you're contemplating parting it out. I've got
both an '84 and an '87 so I can comment on this somewhat.... I haven't seen
many driveline failures on these cars, so your intent of keeping the car for
parts probably isn't warranted. If you paid $800 for it, you certainly got a
great deal, perhaps it's time to step aside
