Regarding the switch, I did a repair on min>                                    

Regarding the switch lever, I did an epoxy job on mine 
which lasted about four months and went again. I then got 
a new switch. 
Took a lot of trouble too. Got the switch out, set
it on the table, added a copper foil piece areond it..
Just never got it as good as new.  I think the epoxy
never really adheared to the plastic material of the lever.
