Hey, I can answer this one :)

The 200 series cars started becoming available with airbags in late 1989. Not 
all 1989 200s had bags.

The 100 series cars started becoming available with airbags in 1990. Don't know 
exactly when in the year, but I'd expect that most or all of 1990 100s had bags.

Don't know about 80/90s...

I specifically looked for an '89 or later 200 due to the airbag availability.
