Point noted.  That said, I'm often reluctant to change the subject headings
since the purpose of having threads is to ensure continuity of the subject.
If, for instance, I decide I don't want to read every message having to do
with hydraulic oil, I find it much easier to skip over them when the header
doesn't change.  In fact, I often find it frustrating when people DO change
the header every time they post a message.  Oh, well; different strokes and
all that...
