Interesting - I've always had a high regard for Konis.  I've had a set of 
sport Konis on my '83 TQC since 1989 with no problems.  Had 'em on both 
Porsches I owned (a 914 and a 911 - why did I sell 'em??????).  They (the 
Konis and the cars) have always given excellent performance. :>)
