How would this be regulated? Recommendation from list member? Round-robin?
Alternate East/West coast dealers? Who will manage this?
It's possible that there are already a few auto brokers amongst us. Would
they be first if we go through with this?

Same here.

But that's just our contributing list members, not "real" advertising.

I get informed via the archives also. It's deciding if "it comes to all
of us" or "we go get it ourselves"..
If it looks like it'll be difficult to control, then a simple policy of
"No posting of ads" is what I vote for. Then the matter of a "Car Buying
vendor/broker/dealer List" in the archives would be another issue. I
would like something like that.
A grey area would be a broker that is knowledgable, contributes often to
this list, and offers discounts/deals- openly indicating that their
agenda is to sell cars. If that person gets to out-of-hand, can we kick
him/her off our (er, Dan's, whatever) list?
Dan, you've got the main say on this and you're quiet. Based on what you
say, this may all be moot.
