Todd,
It does sound like you need new bearings in the front.
Unfortunately, it's not as fun or easy as the rears. Do you have
a Bentley or Haynes Manual? The process is spelled out pretty
well in these.
The biggest problems I had when I replaced mine were (1) removing
the axle nut and (2) removing the bearing race from inside the
strut (if I recall). The Axle nut is put on at a very high
torque, I had to use an air impact wrench to get it off. For the
bearing, I think I had to use a slide hammer. Contact me if you
