You think that's a good price ? Cool, I thought I was overpaying, but
I felt good about it because your right the 89 100 Wagon is almost
non-existent.  From what I've been told from dealers and used car 
places 89-91 wagons are rare as in only 5000 made, and of those 5000 
90 and 91 wagons were all 200 turbo quattro's.  Leaving 89 the only year
of the automatic.  Curiously enough everyone told me all 100 wagons were
automatic's but I saw an 89 100 wagon 5 speed in North Hampton last 
weekend, 70k miles and in nice shape.  The dealer said he had been told
the same thing about the automatics so he was shocked when he found that
one.
