UrQ intake hop ups (fwd)

As long as we're all talking about intake hop ups, I have a question for
all of you UrQ owners: ever notice how that rubber hose that goes from the
intercooler outlet to the throttle body is "kinked" as it makes its 90
degree bend?  That's gotta hurt the airflow considerably.  What, if
anything, has anyone done to get rid of the kink so as to increase the
airflow a little bit?
