The folks on the Eagle Talon list (which, incidentally, are cars with
*NOTORIOUSLY* bad transmissions) swear by both of the following
transmission oils:
Redline MTL, or
BG Synchroshift
A drain and refill of the stock transmission oil with one of the above
fluids works magic with the grinding synchro problems wich plauge the
Talon transmissions. The current trend on the list is that the BG
Synchroshift is slightly better than the Redline.
Of course, most of the time this treatment is only a stopgap which only
delays the eventuality of a rebuild, but YMMV.
