The engine makes about 295HP and pretty good torque since it has a
variable induction system. That, coupleed to a light-weight chassis.
makes it a real barnstormer for a big car. Sorta like a very large
calibre bullet. The car was very quiet, very smooth, and, as I said
before, it is extremely stabe, confidence-inspiring, and direct. I have
driven the new 740iL, the previous 750iL, the new XJ-6, and the new(and
old) LS400, and I tell you, the Audi has them all by leaps and bounds.
Granted, Toyota could probably do alot better than an LS400 if they had
$85,000 per car, but at this this point, the Audi is way ahead.
