	I think you are right, Andrew.  The A8 weighs about 3800 lb which 
is no featherweight compared to an Audi, but compared to its prime 
competition, it is about 300-500 lb to the advantage.  It IS VERY 
stiff.  Our modal analysis guys did some measurements (which I 
don't have) of the chassis stiffness.  You can feel it on the 
road.  It has a race car-like feel that I think is a result of its 
stiffness.  It soaks up large potholes with aplomb. (is that the 
word?)
