  Why are only the 86-88 5KTQs considered the really stout ones? Didn't the
  5KTQ keep the 10V into the '91 model year? I'm hoping there is some
  overlap between the 10V Turbo with maximum potential and the stiffer
  chassis.....<<<<<

There are ways to stiffen the original chassis that weighs way less than the
200lbs audi added in 1990.....  There are severe limitations on the 10 valve
turbo from late 89> ....  Yes you have dual knock sensors, but the static
compresssion is higher......
