Yes, they are owned/controlled by the Inchcape group. I believe they
acquired the rights to the products of all Volkswagen related companies,
about 3-4 years ago. They conduct their business like a professional outfit
- but ultimately the market will decide whether Volkswagen can resurrect
itself down here.

On a different topic, does anyone know what the specs are for 'Super Touring
Cars'. I think the formula originated in Britain, because I've seen
telecasts from there. Many makers have entries, including Volvo with a 850
wagon/estate (or whatever you guys call them). The cars are evenly matched
and the drivers are maniacs which makes for entertaining viewing.
