Hi Group,
has anybody of you guys any experience with trailor hitches
on '86 5k sedans. The only one I found is manufactured by Da'Lan
in Mass. However the other day I saw an 84-89 5K avant in a parking
lot of a local supermarket. She had a hitch mounted, I checked and
it was a Da'Lan. However the cross pipe wasn't flush with the
underside of the bumper. It was rather hanging down another 2-3cm
(~1 inch). It looks ugly and there seems to be no obvious reason.
I called Da'lan and got a drawing, but unfortunately without measurements.
Does anybody know whether the avant might have smaller bumpers than the
sedan?
