I've had these come off too. In one case, I heard it, pulled up to a stop
light, got out of the car and picked it up (fortunately, there was no traffic).
I had just put the tires on. I brought the weight back to the tire shop and
asked them to use the clip-ons. I always request them when I have them balanced
now.

BTW (I've ordered the leather shift boot from AGLA and will let you know when I
have it installed)
