Need help with radio in 5KT

Hi,

Please pardon me for asking perhaps a FAQ item.  I tried to access the
FAQ but I couldn't.  Also I didn't see a section on Radios on the quattro-
index.

I am considering removing the radio from my 1982 5KT.
Its a JVC radio.  I thought that it will be a simple process.
But after looking that there has been a discussion going on the topic,
I am wondering if its a complicated process.  Is it ?  Could you please
tell me what the deal is regarding removing the radio ?  I haven't tried
removing it yet.  Do I need some special tool or something ?
Please help!

Also did Audi install JVC radios or is mine installed by one of the owners ?
Its a really nice JVC radio/cassette with Dolby B & C and some other
functions that I haven't yet figured out how to use!!

I would appreciate your help.
