That's the funny part. When you see videos of Rally events in other
countries, the turns are lined with local townsfolk, and the drivers fly
past within inches of cheering mobs. I saw a tape at the Winter Rally I
ran last year where a driver rolled the car onto its roof. The car sat
for maybe 30 seconds, and then people from the crowd flipped it back onto
its wheels and it took off in a shower of mud to re-enter the stage. Now
that's participation!
