While flipping through some old car magazines last week, I came across the
February '88 issue of VW/Porsche (now European Car) and on p. 34 there was
an article about an '84 4000Q that not only had the turbo motor from a TQC
installed but also the fender flares, bumpers and brakes, etc. I doubt it
was an easy project (the article even claimed as much!) but the end result
certainly appeared to justify all their effort ... the car looked neat and
no doubt drove pretty well too.
