But were the Pro Rally and Euro Rally Sprint cars 10v engines?  The Sport
ur-Q (short, kevlar body) I saw had a 20v head on it (@ Portland QCUSA
event).  This is a different 20v motor than the '91 90q 20v/200q 20v/S4
motors--the two camshafts have a gear between them instead of a chain.
 Regardless, I do agree--Audi motors evidence over-engineering.  

OTOH, there seems to be a limit on the trannies.  I spoke w/ Ned:  he
recently broke 3rd gear during one of his "R&D" runs (something he's not
selling to any of us--yet).  He since learned that there is a different
gearbox available!
