10v hydraulic cams

Hello everyone. This is my first posting in the Q-list, although
I have been following it for some time... my question is if anyone
knows about a good camshaft for the 10v engine that does not cost
an arm and a leg? Some time ago, TAP told me they were expecting
some Praipa (sp?) cams and that the price should be around $400.

Has anyone heard about this manufacturer? They are supposed to be
new (no regrinds). BTW, yesterday I had to replace the exhaust
since the emissions inspector said that my 4000csq would not pass
the smog test due to the numerous leaks. Found a place here in
Atlanta that removed the two mufflers and replaced them with a
three-chamber Flowmaster. The pipe from the cat to the mid muffler
was fine (I was told it was made out of s.s.) as was the exhaust
tip (also s.s.). The Flowmaster fit prefectly in place of the rear
muffler and, unless you kneel down and look under the car, you
would swear it was a stock system (until you hear it).

The sound is awesome and less noise makes its way into the cabin.
Total bill: $140, including tax. A well kown muffler shop around
here (whose name I am not going to mention) wanted $900 to do
the job!! And yes, the car passed the smog test with flying colors.

Thanks in advance to all the Audi gurus in the list.
