I hadn't thought about retrofitting the brakes from a newer 5k on the QTC.
Is it a fairly straightforward operation that involves simple replacement 
of the calipers, or do I need things like the master cylinder as well?  

Maybe I should retrofit a set of internal caliper brakes from a V8Q or 
5kQ20V ... I hear that they are going for a bargain on the used market ;)
