Thanx for all the informative advice on brake woes .....warping rotors
My current research tells me the following:
Check that all the wheel nuts are tightened to the same torque.
Try not to stop the car with v. hot brakes... the pads will keep the rotors hot
in one spot as they cool down.
usefull modifications ie cross drilling, racing rotors, '87 5000 TQ rotors and
twin pot callipers will come in handy when the problem reocccurs.
I am running Repco Metalmaster pads, and my new rotors are german OEMs exported
by Audi, might either of these be part of the problem..... thanx in advance, james
