retrofitting Audi 90 body parts

I am pretty sure I'm going to get a flat out "no" on this, but does anyone
know if it is possible to put the newer Audi 90 front and rear spoilers on
the 1st generation cars?  I ask because I will be saving up to redo the
body on my inherited 88 90Q which cracked both spoilers.  I figured if it
might be possible, I'd try it since a good friend of mine owns a gas
station and I do have access to some help if the modification is mild.
Secondly, there is a ticking sound coming from my engine as it is firing.
Someone said that's a sign of needing a new cam, but I dunno.  Any
thoughts?  Since I don't subscribe, please e-mail all responses if you can.
