Many questions

Hello,

I own an '86 5kcs and have looked through the archives to see if the following
questions have been asked/answered before.  I did not see any and it was my
impression that these questions/problems are pretty common. So...

(1) what is the best way to fix/replace the locking door actuator.  The little
plastic piece has broken and I do not want to buy the whole set up from the
dealer.
(2) what are my options for replacing the cables in the sunroof.  (can I do
it or is this ugly to do)
(3) Odometer broke and I understand there is a bushing/washer that I cannot
purchase from VDO, so I have to let a local speedo shop do it?  Any other
solutions?
(4) The bracket for the fresh air/recirc broke.  Vacuum diaphram works fine.
Are there any aftermarket brackets out there, or can I use a junk yard bracket
and fit it on?
