Audi 5000 CS Turbo Quattro.
Born 1986.  Died 1995.


I toasted the quattro yesterday on my way home from work.  I turned 
left and was hit by a car coming my way.  

The front passenger corner was severely damaged, and the steering 
linkage was broken.

Unfortunately, I estimate that the damage will exceed $3000, and since 
the car bluebooks for little more than that, it will be totalled by my 
insurance company.

It was truly a fun car to have, even when the repair bills were big!

So I will sit here and cry at work, as I realize that my insurance 
rates are about to double.

Goodbye quattro.
