This must be wrong.

I have a hitch on my '90 100 tq and it is designed to pull up to 1800
kg, which would be in the neighborhood of 4000 pounds.

I know that you aren't allowed as much trailer weight on turbo cars
with auto trans and you have to install a bigger oil cooler for the
trans to pull anything.
