OOOWW-D racing

For all of those who have been speculating about Steve Verona's actual 
performance, which is easy to do from the other side of the keyboard, let 
me put it to rest.

He's really fast.  I, as he mentioned, had the opportunity to attend an 
event with him, and have seen first hand.  He's a really nice guy, and 
seems to do the impossible with a car that is not supposed to go that fast.

As I mentioned to others, most cars couldn't break 40 seconds, even some 
faster, better prepared cars (SP).  Steve ran some 40.XX times, and then 
dropped down to a 39.xxx.  I was impressed.

It's rare to see such driving from someone who is new to the sport, but 
the boy's got it.  I haven't got much experience (2 years), but he could 
sure beat the pants off me!
