Audi with Porsche engine

     I used to have a Audi 100GL 1978 model (when I lived in sunny South 
     Africa) and my line was "I've got a Porsche motor in my car" well as 
     you all know it was(2l 4cyl Audi motor 86Kw, but it was used in the 
     924 though!). Before owning the Audi I had a Golf GTI and I had more 
     fun in my Audi than I ever had with the Golf. The one thing I had to 
     do was to replace the carb with a weber 36 DCD and spent hours trying 
     to jet the thing but never got the fuel consumption down from 22 mpg. 
     I must say it was a sad day when I had to sell her before coming to 
     the land of Billy Bob.
