Based on Boge full-color glossies, this is my impression too.

Andrew may be partly correct. The ProGas is supposed to be a progressive
shock- it has a "comfort zone" around its resting position. I think
Autotech's catalog had a chart comparing the (relative) stiffness of
various shocks. This might show if the comfort zone is as soft as the
TurboGas. Overall, though, the ProGas is marketed to be stiffer.

I'm running ProGas on my '86 GTI, but have no experience with the TurboGas.

I want to replace the fronts on my '86 5KS with better shocks (bought
KYB before I knew better), but am not sure which brand/model will ride
best with the car's front-heaviness. The KYBs are harsh on bumps, yet the
car still floats too much. Would rather have it the other way.
This was talked about before, so I'll check the archives.
